Sorry for posting this late.

Here's another interesting thing that we've found, when we pass the
"filename" argument to the fields.binary() widget, i'm attaching a video
to explain it better but, basically, it seems to be ignoring the
argument, i show it on the video.


About the customized module and the information shown on the fields.binary() widget, here's the branch:

In that branch you have three modules and one "client-side" application,
you need to install only the three modules, link them and the
"pos_fp_bematech_4000fi" module installs everything on one shot.

Then you need to configure one "printing server", just go to:
Administration->Customization->Low Level Objects->Fiscal Printing Servers->Printing Server Configurations

and add a new record, it does not validates anything, but leave the
driver by default

Then... just go to Point of Sale->Daily Operations->Print Report Z

and you'll see what we mean, it shows some random characters instead of
the file size.

Then, click "Done" on the wizard, and the information changes and it
shows the file size.
