Hello,

Thanks for the additional info for RHEL 6!
This information is now partially duplicated in our online documentation, so in order to avoid having them go out-of-sync, we have replaced the contents of the INSTALL file with a proper link to the online section with this info[1].

We have also updated the online documentation to include your
instructions for RHEL, as well as Mandriva (which was in the INSTALL
file but not online), and added a few missing packages (this change will
be visible online in a few hours)

The change in the GTK client has landed in trunk[2] and the change in
the online doc was done in the 6.0 branch[3].

Thanks for helping to improve OpenERP's documentation!

  openerp-client dependencies rhel6

Status in OpenERP GTK Client:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  The INSTALL document for the openerp-client source code does not have
  a list with the dependencies for RHEL. Unfortunatly I don't have a
  RHEL 5 box anymore to test it but this might be the same exept for
  glade3 probably being glade2 on 5.x.

  Here's the deps for RHEL 6:
  yum install python pygtk2 glade3 xpdf pydot python-dateutil
