Message #33827
[Bug 865367] [NEW] Web client overwrites custom values on sale order lines
Public bug reported:
We are experiencing some odd behaviour on sale order forms through web
client 6 (version 6.0.3). Gtk client works as it would.
Server OS: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
OpenERP server version: 6.0.3
Client: Ubuntu 11.04
Browsers: Tested on Chrome 13 and Firefox 5.0
This is the problem step by step:
1.- Open a sale order and fill in all required data.
2.- Open a new sale order line and add some complementary product description aside the product default. As for example:
Product default description: [PI] Example Project name.
Edit the product defaults description and add some information about the project:
Custom product description: [PI] Example Project name: IBM Tivoli System Automation installation
3.- Save the order line.
4.- Edit the order line. The Custom product description disappears and falls back to the default description: [PI] Example Project name.
Same behaviour is occurring with other fields like default sale price and analityc account.
Once edited the sale price with other value, it falls back to the
default as explained above.
The analityc account introduced just vanish when the sale order is
edited again.
The first sale order line issue is related to the sale_layout module as
it only occurs with this module installed.
Regards.
** Affects: openobject-client-web
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
