Gapless numbering of orders would be fine, but unnumbered quotations (draft sale orders) would be a mess. The quotation number is important in sales management.

Bug description:
  IMHO OpenERP should switch to gap less numbering ASAP.
  numbers should be issued only once the PO/SO/PICK is confirmed.

  internal revision usually require gap less numbering of all documents.
  - this is the only way to be (somewhat) confident, that documentation
  is complete.
