Re: [Bug 420486] Re: When dragging an icon, releasing the mouse button active the launcher/applet

Well a solution would be to :

   - Start a drag *only* if the user moved more than 5 pixels right or left
   since he mousedowned.
   - Until that, no visible animation
   - After that, a Smooth animation that slide the icon to follow the mouse
(like it was in a way in Kiba dock)

By doing that, everybody is happy and the user is not surprised.

Cordially.

When dragging an icon, releasing the mouse button active the launcher/applet

This is a minor bug, version 2.1.0-alpha, ubuntu jaunty 64 bits.

Dragging an icon an then releasing that icon active the launcher associated with that icon. it should append nothing because I WANT ONLY TO MOVE THAT ICON.

In summary, dragging an icon should disable the icon's action until the next mouse down event.

EDIT: this bug does not realize every time. I suggest that when I 'll find the exact way to reproduce that, I'll post it immediately. But this really exists ! It must be a small bug to find so if you have 15 mn :)
