please install the latest drivers for your card.
also be sure to have the latest X.org, as the devs are currently fixing a lot of visual bugs on the drivers.
if the bug persist, thanks to report it to them, as it is not dependant on the dock.

Bug description:
I have an intel 945 video chip on my Toshiba laptop and I tried the OpenGL version which was very buggy. I then ran the non OpenGL version which was a little better but the dock keeps disappearing when I open another window or do something else. I have tried everything but nothing works. How can I resolve this annoying problem? I have also turned off alot of the eyecandy for my dock but no luck.

I have read through all the other possible bugs reported but I did not see anything that applied to my situation. Both versions of Cairo-Dock are buggy for me. I thought the non OpenGL was more stable but it only lasted a few days and then the bugs started again like they did when I ran the OpenGL version.
