Public bug reported:

I have read through all the other possible bugs reported but I did not
see anything that applied to my situation. Both versions of Cairo-Dock
are buggy for me. I thought the non OpenGL was more stable but it only
lasted a few days and then the bugs started again like they did when I
ran the OpenGL version.

I have an intel 945 video chip on my Toshiba laptop and I tried the OpenGL version which was very buggy. I then ran the non OpenGL version which was a little better but the dock keeps disappearing when I open another window or do something else. I have tried everything but nothing works. How can I resolve this annoying problem? I have also turned off alot of the eyecandy for my dock but no luck.
