[Bug 493602] Re: terminal app dysfunctionalism
"which is a shame". A shame for who? For those who work (for free) for
an project under GNU/GPL license? For those who work only for a project
in order to see its users 'happy'?
Ok, we've taken the choice to use xterm for everybody because xterm's
available on every system. Maybe a function can be added on the Gnome-
integration plug-in or maybe not (especially when it's asked like
that... no 'please', no 'thanks', no 'it can be interesting', etc. ...
your aren't on a proprietary system ! you are on a collaborating system
!)
About your problem, simply edit the launcher and use this command :
gnome-terminal -e "MY_COMMAND"
PS : I hope that we will have your apology :-/

Bug description:
If I use "launch in terminal", cairo-dock uses an xterm instead of gnome-terminal. The only way around this I have found is to move xterm and create a symlink in /usr/bin "xterm"->gnome-terminal.
That is very hackish. Does no one who uses cairo-dock use terminal apps??!?
If you choose not to run in terminal and just set the command, eg "gnome-terminal -e mc", cairo-dock just counts this as a terminal and jumps to the nearest one instead of launching the command.
This makes it totally useless for my purposes, which is a shame. Big big oversight people.
