Right after someone learns to READ EVERYTHING before his/her defensive instincts kick in ;)

Yet, "gnome-terminal -e mc" is totally different from "gnome-terminal -e
vim". This remains true even if "should applications be grouped in a
sub-block is ticked". So I go to click a launcher for vim, instead I
just get taken to an already open terminal running mc.

It cannot be that hard to make the choice of terminals configurable.
However, I respect the fact that I may not be in your "target audience",
and there is nothing wrong with that -- no point trying to please
everyone.

Keep on keeping on, and good luck with the project. I'll be waiting...

Bug description:
If I use "launch in terminal", cairo-dock uses an xterm instead of gnome-terminal. The only way around this I have found is to move xterm and create a symlink in /usr/bin "xterm"->gnome-terminal.

That is very hackish. Does no one who uses cairo-dock use terminal apps??!?

If you choose not to run in terminal and just set the command, eg "gnome-terminal -e mc", cairo-dock just counts this as a terminal and jumps to the nearest one instead of launching the command.

This makes it totally useless for my purposes, which is a shame. Big big oversight people.
