the latest version of Cairo-Dock has a new MusicPlayer applet, that works
with most of new players.
Please ask your distribution to update Cairo-Dock.

audacious-2.1-2mdv2010.0

first of all, the audacious binary is named audacious2 now, at least in Mandriva, and has been for some time; until a few months ago it didn't matter as a link from audacious2 to audacious worked, the controller found the process, and everything was fine.

seems like something changed somewhere, now the icon remains in the broken state, it still can somewhat control the player (stop/play and opening the tracklist and going from there works) but lot of functionality is gone - it no longer displays anything about the song being played for example, and prev/next no longer works.

Did audacious change too much or is something else broken?
