Re: [Bug 528415] [NEW] overwrite app icons with launcher icons not always correct

 

again please try it with the latest version, it may be fixed already.

There's an option to have cairodock overwrite the running application's icon with that of the launcher. Unfortunately this is a bit indiscriminate...

let's say I have a launcher calling firefox
and another calling "firefox --new-window "<some url>"

then a firefox started by the first launcher gets the icon of the second one ...looks to me like it does a partial match in the launcher definitons and just grabs the first that PARTIALLY matches the command.
