In fact, musicPlayer still gets wrong covers stored somewhere even when
we disable internet-search and had deleted all covers from ~/.config
/cairo-dock/musicplayer/

It would be a nice thing to have CD/musicPlayer display covers not only
from the local folder or by download but also from the tags. At least
for some people this would be the place to put them - if they don't like
keeping jpgs in their song folder.

Bug description:
MusicPlayer desklet (1.0.3) detached from the dock (2.1.3-7) does not display album covers irrespecitve of players e.g. exaile,  rhythmbox, or others tested (maybe this is related to [https://bugs.launchpad.net/cairo-dock-plug-ins/+bug/534680]).

When letting the desklet download covers from internet then covers are displayed but 10-20% of covers are ridiculously wrong.

It would be nice when covers were not loaded at all if they don't fit. An additional improvement could be to let the user choose different sources from where to download, including local folders.
