Is it about sub-docks?

I don't have this bug :-/
Which action did you set on left click? Do you have the same bug with all other actions? And also with a middle click on it?

Is it possible to add our 'weekly ppa' in order to use the latest

Bug description:
  This is a minor quibble.

  When "Appear on Click" is chosen, the "Show Desktop" icon (unlike the
  launchers) no longer responds to a single click, but behaves like the
  sub-menus, requiring two clicks.
