Re: [Bug 1132148] Re: After installing the drawers app, cairo dock will not start
I had installed Drawers and Cairo-Dock via the Ubuntu Software Center.
I have installed and uninstalled both programs many times while looking
at different dock apps.
cairo-dock -m did start the configuration window, but it crashed upon
exiting the config window. (I missed the part about disabling the Folder
applet so didn't do that)
I did go get the development version using the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cairo-dock-team/weekly
sudo apt-get update >/dev/null
sudo apt-get install cairo-dock cairo-dock-plug-ins
This seems to have fixed my problem as cairo-dock now starts up and
runs.
Thanks for your help,
Mark
