[Bug 1005102] Re: Cairo dock does not uninstall
@sladner84: if you also have this bug, please answer to the question on
comment 1.
PS: note that it's maybe possible that you're still trying to use a
Cairo-Dock session (but your session manager (lightdm, gdm, etc.) should
not launch it).

Title:
Cairo dock does not uninstall
Status in “cairo-dock” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I can't get rid of Cairo-Dock. I tried using the Software Centre and
I've tried 'sudo apt-get purge cairo-dock cairo-dock-plug-ins && sudo
apt-get autoremove' in both a Terminal and a Root Terminal. But I get
a message at startup saying Cairo can't run because the config files
are gone.
This was a question that had a command line command to finally remove
it which works. But I'm making it a bug as I have 12.04 now and this
software still does not uninstall from the software centre.
