[Bug 1175615] Re: Transparent printer indicator (icon)

 

If you've installed Ubuntu 12.04 (and not XUbuntu, LUbuntu, etc.,) gnome-session is already installed and used to launch Ubuntu session.
In fact you'll have a session like 'Ubuntu' but without Unity. (but if you don't want to use Unity, it's maybe better to launch a Cairo-Dock session).
And of course, you can use this 'Default-Panel' theme on any session ;)

Bug description:
  Using Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS 32bit, updated today, kernel 3.2.0-41.66
  Cairo dock 3.2.1 & Unity disabled, Canon MX328 printer

  Printer indicator didn't appear while printing. 
  I attach dmesg.log while I was printing..maybe it could help you analize.
