thanks for all these infos

I think this is clearly not an expected behavior.
9 gvfsd-trash processes seems already a lot (do you have 9 partitions ?)
but it probably shouldn't increase.
Hopefully they will fix it :-)

Bug description:
  I just upgraded to 3.3.1 and found that my CPU got heavily loaded as
  soon as anything was put in the trash bin. Disabling the bin applet
  resolved the problem.
