Hi,
thanks for the bug report
according to the logs, the dock is crashing before it finishes to remove the applet, and re-launches itself

However I'm not able to reproduce it :/

I guess you can either try the latest version from sources, or better, launch it with gdb, and get a backtrace:
gdb cairo-dock
reproduce the problem -> the dock should freeze
then type "bt" in gdb to get the backtrace

  Unable to remove Applications Menu from dock

Bug description:
  Version: 3.4.1
  OS: Arch Linux (Linux 5.13)

  I am unable to remove applications menu applet from dock. Trying to
  remove from settings menu or the applet context menu, but the applet
  does not disappear.

  This does not affect any other applets.

  Tested with opengl and cairo backends, reproducible with theme
  Default-Single.

  I've also attached a log file where I tried removing the applet in
  both ways described above.
