Hi all,

Because of the snow our in-person meeting tomorrow night will be
*canceled*.  However, if you'd like to give a try at *meeting
virtually*, give me a call on Skype and we'll see if we can do
screen-sharing.  Most of you should have Skype installed already, but
you may need to make a (free) Skype account.  Skype makes the voice chat
portion of the meeting possible.  Skype lets us view one another's
screens, but not control one another's screens.  To control one
another's screens, make a *chat account* on Google Talk
<http://www.google.com/talk/> (you can use an existing Google account
you have for Gmail or other Google services), and enter that account's
username & password into the chat program you have on your computer
named *Empathy*.  Empathy is supposed to allow screen sharing over the
Google Talk protocol.  I haven't tried that yet, but now is a good time
to try!
