[Bug 741203] Re: Read Out Loud does not work

 

Brian Thomason, thank you for following up. I do have libgnome-speech7
installed, volume on 100% performed via the Terminal:

wget
http://www.canonical.com/sites/default/files/active/CaseStudy_MoodleRooms.pdf
&& acroread CaseStudy_MoodleRooms.pdf

then click View -> Read Out Loud -> Activate Read Out loud -> View ->
Read Out Loud -> Read to End of Document

no sound is heard.
