[Bug 812656] [NEW] Video freezes entire system, possibly flash bug?

Public bug reported:

In both VLC and Firefox Videos, my system often hangs up and requires a
hard reboot. I'm thinking flash is somehow consuming the entirity of my
RAM but I've noticed my problem is rare and the only relevant solutions
are for full screen video problems. Mine occur with any screen size.
