Message #00790
[Bug 858782] [NEW] Skype icon disappears from panel area after login
Public bug reported:
In Ubuntu Oneiric beta2 (11.10). On opening Skype, both main window and icon in panel area appear; according my settings, Skype starts disconnected. As soon as I enter the password and login, the panel starts readjusting itself (so the icon goes and comes back some times) till the icon finally disappears.
As a consequence, I cannot close the program unless I kill the process from System Monitor or Terminal (closing the main window just let Skype keep working in background).
