Carl,
1) your 'sources.list' file is really a little bit messy, so consider cleaning it manually or with 'software-properties-gtk' tool (uncheck / delete all the garbage, then check the needed repositories);
2) well, acroread installation problem is known as bug #990761, so this is a duplicate.
