The normal way to handle this situation is to state that you are unable
to reproduce it, and ask for specific information from the original bug
poster (detailed list of steps to reproduce, specific versions of
Linux/clicompanion/libraries/whatever used, etc -- whatever the needed
missing information is!), and then set the bug to "Incomplete".  If they
do not respond within 60 days, the bug will automatically be closed by
LP.  This is generally seen as being more polite than someone just
deciding "I'm going to declare this bug invalid".
