[Bug 1035073] Re: CLI companion gives error code when ran

Hi Stoxe,

first of all thanks for reporting the bug. I wil take a look on it as soon as possible. I can suppose that you are not using gnome as your window manager, am I right?
I will try to make the code more portable, can you please tell me what manager are you using?

Right now I can tell that this module is not used any more inside this
file, but it is used inside the utils.py file to check the default
system font (get_system_font).

Thanks,
David

Title:
CLI companion gives error code when ran

Status in CLI Companion:
  Triaged

Bug description:
I am using peppermint3. I used the terminal to get clicompanion from
the PPA. It downloaded and is installed in my menu but, when I run it
from the menu nothing happens. Typing 'clicompanion' in the terminal
  gave an error message:

    File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/clicompanionlib/tabs.py", line 40, in <module>
      import gconf
  ImportError: No module named gconf

I posted this on the peppermint forums and other users have had the
same problem. They have told me that this only started to happen
  recently.

          Thanks,
          Stoxe
