I added Robert to review, hopefully he can follow up some.
His explaination to me about 42.2 versus 42.3 made me feel that we probably should just do whole numbers there.  It felt like basically 42.2 and 42.3 were likely to be identical from a lxc perspective.  My recollection is that they'd differ in the versions of gnome or kde that were present.  

Robert, I'd appreciate your feedback here.

I'm not opposed to having the ability to feed it a 42.2 or 42.3 and have or 42 and pick the latest.

It was all just quickly done (Ultimately, i'd like to merge it into 'run-centos', changing that to 'run-container' or something).

For reference, here is what lxc's upstream images repository has for suse:
