Re: Profile Guided Optimization claim
No, you are correct, PGO is only in Professional and above SKUs.
So, we'll produce tools and packages that use PGO, so if someone doesn't have the PGO compiler, they'll still be able to use the code.
The CoApp project as a publisher will try to PGO enable as much as possible, and help out those who we can.
Plus, if a particular project needs some tools, I have some pull with the company that makes Visual Studio. I'm pretty sure I can make tools appear.
Not everyone needs PGO--it's really mainly useful for publishers.

Subject: [Coapp-developers] Profile Guided Optimization claim
On the "What is CoApp?" page, one of CoApp's "will" bullets mentions use of Profile Guided Optimization (PGO). I'm curious as to how CoApp will provide PGO capabilities given we (licensed Visual Studio users) had to pay for it. PGO isn't available in Visual Studio Express SKUS.
Perhaps this is a Visual Studio 2010 change I missed?
