Binary package hint: compiz

Active window resize via keyboard. Alt+space > R
Hit left/right/up/down key 2 times to resize window in that direction once. (up/down takes 3-4 presses to reproduce artifact)
Artifact will be a "left-over" from the resize info box.

See attached screen-shot extract for artifact generated by resizing to
the right.
