Hi!

This is a very annoying bug!
It happens while compiz is activated (desktop effects).

ie: I must disable compiz in order to use fullscreen mode in 3D games (Nexuiz, OpenArena, Tremulous, etc.) else it returns in a windowed mode (each time I'll try to use the hotkey CTRL + Enter in order to restore the fullscreen mode, it toggles in the windowed mode again).
It also affects 2D apps/games like ScummVM, Secret Maryo Chronicles, etc.

This is ALWAYS reproducible only when desktop effects are enabled.

My PC : laptop MSI GX700 + 2,2 Ghz (dual core), Nvidia 8600M GT. Ubuntu
8.04.2 LTS
