[Bug 424592] [NEW] compiz stuck at 100% CPU after application switch

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

Bug occurs on latest Karmic, on machine with intel video.

After logging in, I start two applications, press alt+tab to switch between the applications and then all freezes,
no reaction to mouse or keyboard after that.

Then I log in with ssh from another machine. "top" shows me that the process compiz.real has 100% CPU load.
When I kill the compiz.real process the first computer returns to normal.
Switching between applications work without a problem until I start compiz again.

The freeze appears in the following cases:
switch between firefox & open office writer
switch between firefox & terminal window
switch between audacity & terminal window

The freeze does not appear when switching between gedit and terminal
window.

Please let me know if any further information is needed.
