Apparently, switching visual quality is what caused the settings to
change, however, the custom item wasn't available and when using custom
ccsm settings it appears as if no setting types at all are checked...

It still doesn't explain how it happened in the first place (And the
settings got reset, I believe I was using the gimp on both occasions,
perhaps there is a link...), and how high quality could have different
results different times despite resetting to default in between...

Also, specifically setting the cube to on, didn't have any effect (It
still used desktop wall)

This is probably a one in a million chance bug... But its happened twice
so I would appreciate a diagnosis!
