[Bug 385398] Re: Please unblacklist intel chips in compiz for testing

 

The silence only means that launchpad is not a discussion or a thread,
but a tool to work on bugs, therefore please don't comment here unless
you have relevant technical informations to provide. Bug 259385 has high
priority, is Triaged, and upstream recognized the bug and changed the
status to "in progress". If upstream developer would stop to work on
that issue, they would not declare that there is work in progress.
However, while there is some work done on this, it is right that we
can't expect this card to have as much attention as a recent card. At
the moment, it is true that the situation is very unfortunate and not
common. As some potential solutions, you can probably find workaround if
you search in forums, or you can use a older distribution, or plug
another graphic card in your computer until the wonderful day where the
driver will finally support your card again.
