Binary package hint: compiz

1) Ubuntu 9.10 with all updates, Gnome 2.28.1, Compiz
2) Compiz Settings Manager
3) Expected behaviour, settings "stick" once set 
4) Compiz settings often change without warning

Sometimes, seemingly randomly but often when I change desktop back grounds or other appearance settings, the Compiz Settings Manager in Karmic will randomly change some of my settings.
For example change the "move window" shortcut, or change the "enable desktop integration" or other settings.

Running Karmic with all updates on a T61 laptop with dual core 2.0Ghz
and Intel GM965 integrated graphics
