** Description changed:

  Since Ubuntu 9.10 Compiz became to detect monitor's refresh rate incorrectly, so the performance became very low by default.
- My monitor works at 60 Hz (or 60.02 as the NVidia Settings tool says), when Compiz choose 50 Hz by default.
