[Bug 591015] [NEW] Enabling 'reflection' in compiz caused xserver not to start
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: compiz
Enabled 'reflection' via cssm gui and ubuntu immediately went to login screen. When i tried to log back in, x would not start and it returned to lgin screen again. I then got in to ubuntu via failsafe mode - as soon as disabled 'reflection', the computer went back to normal. I will attach compressed version of /var/log/Xorg.0.log - seems that enabling 'reflection' mucked up the monitors v-synch and h-synch.
Computer Compaq C700 - 32 bit 2.13GHz cpu, Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03), 2gb ram
** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
