Message #07840
[Bug 602568] [NEW] Compiz Negative Plugin "Toggle Screen Negative" hotkey conflicts with Indicator Applet messaging menu hotkey
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: compiz-fusion-plugins-main
In Ubuntu 10.04: The Compiz "Negative" plugin sets the "toggle screen
negative" hotkey to <Super>+m, but this key combination is already bound
to the Ubuntu Indicator Applet's messaging menu. Pressing <Super>+m will
raise Indicator Applet's messaging menu from the panel, and Compiz's
negative plugin is unaffected. Compiz's "Toggle Screen Negative" hotkey
should not be bound to <Super>+m in a default Ubuntu installation.
Compiz's negative plugin probably has no reasonable alternative to
<Super>+m, so that hotkey should not be enabled.
** Affects: compiz-fusion-plugins-main (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
