after logging out, I came onto this note: of 5-16-10; apology if I've
duplicated prior posting containing same.

Building OS Linux 2.6.24.27-server x86_64ubuntu
Current OS Linux 2.6.32-22- generic #33-ubuntu SMP
Kernel Command Line Root=UUID=c3d97030-c966-4676-62092ad5c10887f ro quiet splash
saved to $xorg-backup_file

following instructions at http://wiki.x.org... My PC went into a fatal
server error. It said it had failed to submit batchbuffer: input/output
error. I sought to consult with the X.org Foundation support relative to
log file var/log/Xorg.0.log. Then I could not solve this terminal entry:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure-phigh xserver-xorg

k78724@Kproductions:~$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure-phigh xserver-xorg

[sudo] password for k78724:

sudo: dpkg-reconfigure-phigh: command not found
