[Bug 618427] [NEW] no FSAA in OpenGL windows
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: compiz
When OpenGL applications are used in windowed-mode, eg. glxgears, and
full scene antialias (FSAA) as enabled for example using the proprietary
nvidia driver setting, or ATIs config tool, is lost. All rendered
elements are presented in ugly non-antialiased fashion. Using metacity,
the same applications run smoothed.
What I do: Enable a high FSAA level using nvidia-settings, run glxgears.
What should happen: glxgears running with smoothed contours
What happens: glxgears showing ugly aliasing artefacts.
Seems to apply to all ubuntu versions since 9.04.
** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
