Hi !

[using Maverick Beta]

Is it possible to enable "VSync" by default in Compiz in order to
prevent tearing when playing video files / moving windows ? Indeed,
vertical synchronization is disabled by default in Compiz and one needs
to install the additional "ccsm" utility in order to change it, which is
definitely not very user friendly.

IMHO, this is definitely worth the little tradeoff (a little fewer FPS
in games). Moreover, OSX and Vista/7 do enable VSync by default.

[Additionally, I'll file another bug regarding the default nvidia
settings.]
