I am having the same problem in 10.04.  I updated this morning & was
prompted to restart.  After I restarted, I had no title-bars, etc (no
window decoration).  I found this thread and installed fusion-icon.  I
can restart the window manager via fusion-icon as stated above, but I'd
really like to know the root-cause of this issue and get it fixed up.
