Public bug reported:

Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.x.org
to make sure that you have the latest version.
Graphics card info:
ATI Radeon HD 2600 pro
2D driver version: 8.78.6
driver packaging version: 8.762-100803a-103698C-ATI
open GL version: 3.3.10243
compiz version 0.9.2 (compiled from git)
I'm unsure if this bug is reproducable with other hardware or versions
of compiz, but in 0.9.2 if you attach a second mouse and xinput create-
master new then reattach the slave pointer to the master, the new master
is unable to move windows at all or perform various other functions.
With metacity it can so I think this bug directly affects compiz 0.9.2
** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
