Binary package hint: compiz

After having updated nvidia+xorg, whenever I try to log into the
session, either using Unity or the Classic deskop session with effects,
the UI remains frozen.

By frozen I mean I get either a static picture of the desktop, a black
screen or a blank one, but I can still move the mouse cursor. Restarting
compiz or unity does not make a difference.

The only workaround seems to be to log back in using the Classic desktop
(No effects) session.
