Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

Reproducible test case:
 - Open a 'new message" window with CTRL-N,
 - type a message
 - send with CTRL-ENTER
Note: don't touch the mouse or click on interface buttons

Expected result: the focus should revert to the main thunderbird window

Actual result: the keyboard focus goes "somewhere", probably the root
window and it becomes impossible to do anything with the keyboard: in
particular, ALT-TAB does not work

Warning: to unblock the keyboard focus after performing this test, you
must click on a UI element, like a launcher icon.
