[Bug 774379] [NEW] after upgrade problems with display, some disappear when compiz turned off

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

Right after I upgraded to natty on 28th April I started experiencing
strange problems with display. There are no top bars of windows with
close, minimize, maximize buttons and gnome terminal became invisible (it
was there, but it was not displayed; I could type commands there and
they were properly executed, e.g. I could make a mercurial commit and
push, though haven't seen what I typed). I have turned off compiz
effects, including opengl support and this made my terminal visible. The
problem with toolbars remains. I don't which package I should name in
the report, so I used compiz.
