[Bug 782956] [NEW] Full-screen overlay switching problem, screen lockout-related

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

If I have a full-screen application open and the screen locks after the
timeout, there is a graphical glitch where the video is sometimes
corrupted, and the unlock screen applet is not shown. Entering the
password seems to clear it up, but confused me at first. This is easiest
reproduced on firefox playing a video in full-screen, but this is not a
firefox bug. To reproduce the bug:

1. make sure that the computer locks screen after a time-out, and compiz enabled. Let compiz manage log-in screen in compizconfig.
2. start firefox and play any video (youtube would work fine) in fullscreen mode
3. let the screen lock up (don't touch any keys) after timeout
4. after the time required, you'll see a screen from the video, but the computer is unresponsive
5. there should be an applet that asks for the password, but it is hidden under the full-screen program
5. to to clear the problem, enter the password to unlock the computer

Issue is specific to 11.04, 10.10 did not have this problem. I use
64-bit Ubuntu.
