[Bug 783492] [NEW] compiz is consuming 6.5 GiB memory

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

Problem has been ongoing since about 7 May 2011. After letting the PC
stay idle overnight, Compiz occupies 6.5 GiB memory. It's upper limit
seems to be 6.5 GiB, I have not seen it go over that mark. After
looking at a memory map for compiz, the particular process within Compiz
that seem to be consuming the most memory is doe not have an associated
filename with it BUT one particular on is the heap. The heap is
occuping 1.0 GiB itself. Please let me know if you need anymore
information.
