Public bug reported:

booted up, logged in.

Then compiz (under unity) crashed, leaving the screen empty. After a
while the crash dialog appeared, offering to Restart program or Report.
Since I was running an empty desktop at that point I clicked Restart
program, which quite surprisingly destroyed the dialog, as if wanting to
restart the program that crashed would imply I did NOT want to report it
too. Sadly, that's all I have because of that dialog. Also, I enabled
the option to not report again for the same version, again under the
assumption that reporting would still be possible through the same
dialog.

Apparently the crash dialog warrants another bug report to get the UI
elements' actual causes improved.
