Problem occurs with: Ubuntu 7.10, 8.04, 8.10, 9.04, 9.10, 10.04, 10.10, 11.04, Ocelot alpha 2
Does not occur with: Ubuntu 7.04 and earlier (or any version running Metacity), Windows 95 and later, Mac OS X 10.0 and later

1. Install Ubuntu on a machine for which Compiz is installed by default.
2. Restart into Ubuntu, and open a window.
3. Hold down the mouse or touchpad button on the window's resize area, and move the pointer.

What happens: A brown or orange rectangle appears, at the size the window will be, until you release the button.
What should happen: The window resizes as you drag.

The equivalent problem was fixed for Xubuntu in bug 749665.
