Steps to reproduce:
* Put a small window on one side of the screen.
* Drag it to the other side and press Esc before releasing the mouse and before it stops wobbling.
Notice the window shudders instead of moving back to it's previous position.

A similar effect occurs with maximised windows:
* Maximise a window.
* Drag the title bar (or Unity panel) down until it unmaximises and press Esc before releasing the mouse.
Notice the window jumps to the very top-left of the screen (overlapping the panel) instead of reverting to it's previous maximised state.
