[Bug 865751] [NEW] All windows frequently reset positions automatically

Public bug reported:

Since my upgrade to Oneiric, several times a day all my screens get re-positions automatically, as if I had plugged in the external display again.
This is triggered by random things like switching desktops or alt+tabbing.
Extremely disruptive :)

I am guessing this is compiz's fault, but I don't know.
